Over one million vaccines have now been administered in Northern Ireland and Minister Swann has commended all those involved in the vaccination programme. The Minister is also encouraging those who are eligible to book their vaccine.
He said: “The Covid-19 vaccination programme is continuing to deliver exceptional results in Northern Ireland. The uptake has been significant with over one million vaccines now administered across all our sites, including GP practices and pharmacies. This uptake is undoubtedly saving lives and protecting a great many others from serious illness.
“As we move through the programme and open it up to a wider range of people, there will always be an early rush for appointments. Do not be put off if you can’t get booked immediately. Keep trying. Everyone who wants a vaccine will get one.”
Appointments are currently available and everyone who is eligible should book online - https://covid-19.hscni.net/get-vaccinated
