Health Minister Mike Nesbitt congratulates health and social care staff honoured in the 2024 Birthday Honours.
Staff from across a range of health and social care professions have been recognised in this year’s Birthday Honours, alongside foster carers, health educators and community and voluntary sector representatives.
Speaking today Minister Nesbitt praised the efforts of those recognised: “I am delighted that staff from across the health service and wider health and social care family have been recognised for their selfless service.
“Being bestowed an Honour on behalf of His Majesty The King is a significant achievement. It reflects the positive impact and influence they have had on society. I send my warmest congratulations to each and every person nominated and want to add my thanks to them for everything they do.”
