(HSCPB 1/21) - Appointment of 1 x Independent Chair to the (HSCPB)

The Department of Health is seeking to appoint One Independent Chair to the Health and Social Care Pensions Board (HSCPB).

The HSC Pensions Board (HSCPB) was established in 2015 under the Public Service Pensions (Northern Ireland) Act 2014 and the Health and Social Care Pension Scheme Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015. The Board is made up of one Independent Chair appointed by the Department. In addition, there are currently 12 members made up of equal numbers of employer representatives and representatives of scheme members.

Applicants for the 1 x Independent Chair must meet the following essential criteria:       

Leadership ; Corporate Governance and Accountability; Collaborative Working; and Knowledge of Pensions’ Regulations and Administration.
